Education Programs
The Center for Assistive Technology provides education on assistive technology
to students and professionals. Many of CAT's educational activities are
developed through projects supported by our sponsors. Others are done through
the Occupational Therapy Department and other collaborating departments.
CAT's educational activities take many forms, such as: courses, workshops,
internships. In addition to courses and workshops presented by conventional
means, many will also be delivered through Internet-based distance teaching.
Some of our current Education activities include education projects of the
RERC on Aging, interdisciplinary academic programs offered by UB and the
School of Health Related Professions, and distance education. Also, check
